Although Bob is 90 years of age he is still an activist and nowadays can be found marching along at many anti-war demonstrations. He travels throughout Ireland and abroad sharing his experiences with groups and public audiences; he especially enjoys discussions with, and thus enthusing, younger generations.

The meeting entitled: 70th Anniversary of the Spanish Civil War- the Fight Against Empire Then and Now, will commence at 7.30pm in NUIG, at the Aras Ui Cathail lecture theatre. Directions to the building will be clearly posted on the campus, so all interested persons are encouraged to attend this free public meeting even if they are not familiar with the university.
