well, obviously to hold such a demo on Nice2 polling day won't work! i would suggest that the best alternative date would be the preceding saturday (12th october). the work in building for this can easily be integrated into work for a 'NO' vote in the referendum, linking on the issue of militarism, RRF, etc.

I'm writing from Co. Clare and not enough people down here know about this demonstration. Can somebody involved in organising it please contact the Clare Champion and they will do an article on it. There is a journalist, Joe O'Muircheartaigh who will probably be happy to do it. His number is 087- 2370507 or jomuircheartaigh@clarechampion.ie It will need to be done by Monday at the latest to get into next week's edition. Can you let me know if somebody contacts him and if nobody does I will do it myself, I just thought it would be better if one of the organisers did it as I don't know much about the Irish anti-war movement. In reply to Angel, there will be a bus organized by the Cork Peace Alliance from Cork on Saturday morning to attend the demo. The bus will be leaving from Cork Opera House at 10:30am. Return fare will be 15 euros.
