The lecture is booked out, but you can watch it live from 7pm on Wednesday, 24 October on www.rte.ie/live.
The veteran investigative journalist is best known for his books and articles on the My Lai Massacre, the Abu Ghraib abuses and several other stories about the United States military and security.

The film showing is on in the UCI in Coolock at 8:00 PM on Sunday 28th October. We are meeting at 7:45 in the cinema, we will be meeting at the seated area on the right as you enter the UCI.

The Irish Anti-War Movement is looking for volunteers to moderate the Forum, which will be set-up once we have enough moderators to manage it.
The Moderatos will have the following duties:
Amnesty International, Galway are holding 2 "close guantanamo" events on wednesday 31st October.
Volunteers are needed to dress up as guantanamo captives, and u.s. soldiers (scary, even for Halloween).
The captives will be marched from Eyre Square, Galway, through the main streets to Spanish Arch at 12.30- 1.30, and 5.30- 6.30pm that day.

The Galway Alliance Against War is organising a peace bus for the anti-war demonstration in Dublin on Saturday 10th November to mark 1 million US troops having travelled through Shannon Airport on their way to war. It is now estimated that 1 million people have also been killed in Iraq since the invasion.

The Raytheon 9 have gone on trial for a non-violent occupation of the Raytheon office
on 9th August 2006. This occupation was carried out in the context of the Israeli attack
on Lebanon there is evidenced that Raytheon Guided Bomb Units were used in this attack
on Lebanon.
The picket will take place on Thursday 22nd November 2007 at the Israeli
embassy between 12:30 – 14:00.
