Collection of humanitarian aid for Gaza. GALWAY, SAT 31/1/09Humanitarian Aid for Gaza Please support the collection of humanitarian aid for Gaza that Galway Palestine Children’s Charity is organising for Saturday 31st January. The intention is to fill a 40ft container with a wide range of goods that are desperately needed. We are hoping the Gardaí will give consent for the main collection point to be at Eyre Sq..Galway City.

Assemble 2pm Saturday 31st January 2008 on the north side of the O'Connell Monument. Mobilising call: The Dublin Branch of the IPSC calls on all its supporters and all other people concerned with human rights to protest at O'Connell Bridge on Saturday afternoon 31st January. This protest is to mourn the dead and injured people in Gaza and we ask those attending to come dressed in black/dark colours and to bring black flags and Palestinian national flags. We ask people to bring no other banners. There will be some banners provided to make it clear what the protest is about. Pain of Gaza: Dead: 1,314 including 412 children and 100 women. | ||
