This year the IPSC Sponsored Hill Walk will take place on Saturday 17th October. We will be setting off from The Step Inn in Stepaside, Co. Dublin at 11.00am and finishing up with a meal and some liquid sustenance in Enniskerry.
Occupation 101: Voices of the Silenced Majority is an award winning 2006 documentary on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The film focuses on the effects of the Israeli occupation of the West Bank and Gaza Strip, and discusses events from the rise of Zionism to the Second Intifada. Occupation 101 includes interviews with mostly American and Israeli scholars, religious leaders, humanitarian workers, and NGO representatives.

PEACE MARCH TO SHANNON AIRPORT ON SUNDAY THE 8th NOVEMBER, 12noon-3pm. ORGANISED BY THE WORLD MARCH FOR PEACE AND NONVIOLENCE.
A Peace March to Shannon Airport is being held as part of the global World March for Peace and Non-Violence. It is organized by the World March for Peace and Non-violence Ireland and coincides with the regular monthly vigil organised by Shannonwatch, a group of human right and peace activists, at Shannon. We are inviting all the Irish antiwar and peace organizations, local and intercultural communities and individuals, peace activists and pacifists and everyone who believes in the power of nonviolence and agrees with the importance of disarmament at national and global level. It opens to everyone interested!
We stand for:
- Global nuclear disarmament
- Progressive and proportional reduction of conventional weapon
- Withdrawal of invading troops from occupied territories
- Renunciation by governments as the use of war as means to resolve conflicts
- Signing of non-aggression treaties between countries
- Rejecting all forms of violence such us: physical, sexual, racial, religious, economical and psychological violence.

On Monday 9th November 2009, as part of the international Week of Solidarity Against the Apartheid Walls in Palestine and Siege of Gaza the Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign is proud to present an Irish Premiere screening of the documentary "Bassem Abu Rahmah - Story of a Martyr".
The film will start at 1pm in the Room G20, Western Gateway Building, UCC, Cork .

On Tuesday 10th November 2009, as part of the international Week of Solidarity Against the Apartheid Walls in Palestine and Siege of Gaza the Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign is proud to present an Irish Premiere screening of the documentary "Bassem Abu Rahmah - Story of a Martyr". The screening of this short documentary will be followed by a question and answers session with Evie Soli and Pete St. John Jones, two international activists who have been a part of the non-violent resistance movement in the West Bank village of Bil'in.
The film will start at 7.30pm in the Pearse Centre, 27 Pearse St, Dublin 2.

As part of the IPSC's Week of Solidarity Against Apartheid Walls in Palestine and Against the Siege of Gaza, the Kilkenny branch of the IPSC are proud to host a public meeting with Irish activists from the Irish sections of Viva Palestina and the Free Gaza Movement. VP and the FGM will be taking part in the international siege breaking convergence on Gaza that will coincide with the anniversary of Israel’s 2008/09 winter attack on the besieged coastal strip
The meeting will take place on Wednesday 11th November at 8pm in the Club House Hotel, Kilkenny.

On Thursday 12th November 2009, as part of the international Week of Solidarity Against the Apartheid Walls in Palestine and Siege of Gaza we will be holding a fundraiser pub quiz in aid of the Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign. It will start at 8pm in Brokers Bar on Dame Street (near the Central Bank Plaza).
Cost for entry is €10 per person, with teams of 4 to 5 people maximum.
Please come along (and bring your friends!) and support the work of the IPSC in our struggle for justice for the Palestinian people. We depend on your support!
(And don't worry, it won't be a quiz made up of just questions about the Middle East!)

On Saturday 14th November the IPSC will hold a National Rally Against Apartheid in Palestine & The Siege of Gaza. We are asking people to assemble at 2pm at the Spire on O'Connell Street and to bring banners, placards etc.
The rally will be followed by at 4pm by a public meeting in The Teachers' Club, Parnell Square, Dublin 1.
