"He who joyfully marches to music rank and file, has already earned my contempt. He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would surely suffice. This disgrace to civilization should be done away with at once. Heroism at command, how violently I hate all this, how despicable and ignoble war is; I would rather be torn to shreds than be a part of so base an action. It is my conviction that killing under the cloak of war is nothing but an act of murder." Einstein

GLOBAL DAY OF ACTION TO BAN CLUSTER MUNITIONS
A global day of action to Ban Cluster Bombs will take place on
Saturday, 19 April 2008, exactly one month before the crucial Dublin
Diplomatic Conference on Cluster Munitions (19 - 30 May 2008) where
negotiations for a treaty that will ban cluster bombs will take place.
The main aim of the day is to raise awareness through generating
media coverage of the cluster munitions problem, the treaty process
and the Dublin negotiating conference, and to specifically highlight
what action we are asking governments to take - in our case, the
Irish government.
When: 19 April 2008
Where: Dublin City Centre, TBC
Come along and sign a petition card to support the treaty process!
